Ouroboros

Across all tropical portions of the world, there is a myth. It is told differently in each area. In some places, they are called siblings. In others, mates. But the core of the legend is the same: a pair of dragons, one white, one black, that arrived from the sky to scour the land in search of something. For what is unknown. Food and treasure are popular guesses. But whatever they sought, they apparently found it somewhere in southern China, where they settled and declared their dominance over all things.

And soon the legends began telling of a family with young.

While eluisve, things of shadow rather than war, it was obvious that their power was great. What one could not overcome alone, they could together. It is said that they fought so perfectly together it was possible to mistake them for one creature. Other versions of the tale say they literally combined into one being, a divine dragon capable of endless flight.

Less is known of the dragons individually though. One was told to be fierce and fast, the other cunning and stealthy, but it is not clear to which each descriptions refer.

While they went by many names over many years, seemingly alive for over a century, they are most consistently called," Daigan" and, "Talicole."
