Description:
It is unknown where Zeohs came from or what he truly is, but his strange, unnatural powers suggest that he has an origin much like Fenris or Sotz- a world that is not out own, yet also held within it. Whether the Underworld below or some other demonic plane next to ours, this dark bird is not a creature of Earth. The most accepted theory is that he came from a different dimension, one where demons and living gods rule as creatures of flesh and blood. Zeohs is- or at least thinks he is- a guardian of balance, a judge of the battle between good and evil. When he believes the the forces of good are too strong, he will kill suitable number of defenders or summon a league of destroyer. When he believes the forces of evil are too strong, he will ravage the dark forces or enlist with the beasts of benevolence. And now, with a war unlike any other birthed for control of the Earth, Zeohs has made our humble world the focus of his judgement. He sees himself as an outside force, and tries to avoid fighting himself. He prefers to be an observer first, a manipulator second, and a fighter last. This is fortunate for helplessly outmatched legions, because Zeohs is unfathomably powerful. He is an extremely competent warrior, using his three unique energies types with perfect timing and precision to lay waste to those who break his precious balance. He is difficult to harm even by Earth's mightiest brutes, and he can near instantly heal any harm that befalls him. He is almost unstoppable. Because he sees himself as a judge, an objective watcher of all words, Zeohs avoids all emotion. He is stoic and cool, choosing to remain unemotional and unreadable at all times. It would be easier to raise cries from a rock or stone than the dark bird of judgement.

Powers:
-Blood Talons: the long, curved crimson claws of Zeohs are dangerous and dexterous, useful as the fingers on a set of hands; the Black Kite uses these length claws to slash and manipulate foes like great, oversized mitts; the bladed digit on his wings are quite clever as well, capable of grappling and grasping
-Barbs: there are numerous small, sharp barbs hidden in the black plumage of Zeohs's tail; these organic daggers can be stabbed into flesh or thrown like darts, all with a flick of his slender tail tip
-Lithe Power: despite his elongated, slender form, Zeohs is a very powerful creature filled with supernatural strength; a single blow from his wings can bast over even heavyweight titans like Colterus and Mesucos; he can also carry immense objects, items far larger than himself lifted effortlessly through some form of magic in the bird's veins
-Triple Essence: Zeohs is a living reactor of three unique forms of energy, each with a different ability and set of characteristics:

-Yang is a harsh, jagged black energy that embodies evil and destruction; it is the the leveler, the destroyer; it only breaks and wounds and kills; its jagged mass is pure sin; it originates from Zeohs's silky plumage, crackling out like black thunder; used to coat feathers like sinister blades, batter in shredding blast with claps of Zeohs's wings, or be sent out in electricity-like bolts; it is a purely offensive technique; its potency is only limited by the state of Zeohs himself, its power coming from the 'completeness' of the bird; if he is damaged, its effect is accordingly dulled; can coat the entire body of the Sword of the Scale, making his very touch harmful

- Yin energy is a soft, fluid purple-pinkish essence that heals and protects; concentrated kindness and good will makes up its water-like flow; originates from Zeohs's scaly flesh, seeping out as if it was light and soothing as clouds; it can help mend wounds on allies or Zeoh himself, its touch as gentle as that of a mother, or repels attacks with the strength of the mightiest shield, an unbreakable barrier against harm; Zeohs can coat his entire body in it for a few seconds, making his great form untouchable to all forms of damage

-Zen is a red energy that burns like fire, and is perhaps the most mysterious of all; it holds the capability of employing two distinct effects; it can teleport Zeohs or any other target from one spot to another in a mere second, flaring up from his talons like a bloody inferno, or be used to put Zeohs or another target into deep trances of varying length; for as long as the fire-like essence coats Zeohs or another being, they will sleep; this makes Zeohs a master of where a foe is and what they do; the teleportation power of this energy even seems to stretch across different dimensions, allowing Zeohs to hop from world to world; it is what allow him to be a reality-jumper, judging the balance of multiple dimensions; its power to affect other monsters is limited however, as a foe that hasn't been sufficiently weaken or subdued can fight against its effect- both of them; originates from Zeohs's claws and teeth, rising like spectral flames

-Balance Beam: Six bolts of energy will fire from a small orb held between Zeohs's curled horns- three black, ragged, and composed of Yang, three water-like, pinkish or violet, and made by Yin; these two sets of lightning strikes will race in opposite directions, one trio blasting foes with explosive might and the other trio healing nearby allies or assets
-Banishing Fist: Zen will flare from Zeohs's talons and gather before his chest in a swirling sphere; this red orb with launch out like a cannon and strike foes with enough kinetic force to catapult them off their feet; they will either strike the ground asleep or not at all, because the Zen seizes the victim with its special effects if they are vulnerable enough; if they can still fend off the Zen, this blast will only weaken them further
-Fusion Bomb: By fusing his three forms of energy together, Zeohs can create a massive, unstable sphere of raw power that will explode with incredible power upon contact with a target; Yang and Yin are polar forces, and the result of their mingling is disastrous; it is only a separating barrier of Zen that prevents the orb from detonating into civil strife until it is hurled into a foe; this attack is rarely used, as it is so strong it is sure to level any landscape and severely injure Zeohs himself, to the point where his healing Yin can only do so much
-Plate Mail: Zeohs's soft, tufted pelt is fragile and can be cast asunder like black starstuff, but the plated skin underneath is a much different story; its is nearly impenetrable, as tough as a solid sheet of bone, yet flexible as silk
-Flight: Zeohs is a powerful aerial fighter, his expansive wings displacing air as effectively as his enigmatic Zen energy; when it comes to speed, the black bird can be beat, but he is unmatched in midair maneuverability; can twist and turn his slender body as well as any sea creature or boneless insect

Bio:
The first time Zeohs revealed himself to both Man and monster was when he appeared suddenly to Quetzar. As the dragon awoke from its sleep to absorb energy from the sun, he found the black bird perched a small way off, its emotionless gaze fixed on him. Before Quetzar could react, the strange being disappeared in a flash of its zen energy. At that very moment, Quetzar's ancient rival, Zoatl, descended to Earth and attacked the Sun Warrior.

It is believed that Zeohs somehow summoned the space serpent.

When Earth's defenders were struggling against Anpu, Zeohs arrived to even the odds. The sand giant was too powerful a force to let roam freely. With all of the bird's might on their side, the guardians were about to defeat and trap Anpu. The Black Kite vanished just as appeared though- quickly and quietly.

Background Information: Of the two previous avian monster I concocted, they're very plain. I figured I might as well make a more flashy bird, and am very thankful I did.

For the update, took a cue from Q, the Winged Serpent (see what I did there?), and made his wings look feathery without actually having them be bird wings. Now they're more like pterosaur wings, just with fur/proto-feathers that look bird-like in some spots.

Also, went back and added some shades of blue and purple as people suggested. Not a huge change, but I think he looks a bit more defined. More interesting and varied at least.
