Length: 160 meters
Mass: 45,000 tons
Rank: 4

Description:
Jake is a deadly organic weapon, trained by Alex Shepheard and armed by the military. Despite his role as a anti-kaiju defense, he was once strongly defiant. He resented taking orders from anyone but his adopted father, Alex Shepheard. But through years of service and battle under the G.A.K.F., Jake has become more disciplined and well trained. He's still the same old Jake, bold and stubborn in battle, but his defiance has been molded in tenacity, a trait that has distinguished Jake from most other giants. Instead of defying his masters, he defies defeat. Next to nothing can force this trooper to back down. Despite his small size and relative frailness, Jake can brawl with the best of them. Even when his allies and fellow G.A.K.F. monsters back down, the cyborg will refuse to give in, bullheaded and confident to the end. It is both a blessing and a curse, but Jake's friends and mentors are always there to support him. He was once a loose cannon, a weapon that could only be directed, but now he's a focused force. Where the news and media once criticized his unpredictable nature and rough edges, they now praise him as one of Earth's greatest defenders. Still, he does retain streaks of his old defiance and will sometimes disobey his orders when enraged. Jake is very bold and straight-forward in battle, using his natural weapons and the weapons grafted onto him in perfect sync. To let him carry the weight of so many weapons, he was genetically enhanced to have more muscle that his kin. This makes him slower and less agile than his mother and sibling. His firepower more than makes up for it though, and he is also more durable than his family as a result. He is often partnered with Plume, a good match for the strong-willed cyborg. Where Jake prefers his long-range weapons and may ignore orders, the basilisk is a brawler and completely loyal. Despite their differences, the two are good friends, together even when not under order or in battle. Jake is also very attached to Alex. The young monster formed a powerful bond with the man who raised him, always ready to please or defend him. Only the bond he shares with his mother is stronger.

Powers:
-Claws and Jaws: Jake is armed with a pair of saber teeth, a set of vicious talons, and spines on his elbows and legs
-Blade Tail: Jake's tail is armed with a retractable blade that can be flicked and slashed with lethal precision
-Bladed Fins: the webbed spines on Jake's back have been armed with razor-sharp metal blades and can be used to slash and spear flesh like butter
-Rapid Ringer: the gatling gun mounted on Jake's shoulder can fire an immense number of huge armor piercing rounds in a single second, hammering foes with hundreds and hundreds of bullets in mere moments
-Hide Busters: the powerful guns mounted on Jake's missile compartments can fire rounds vast and strong enough to penetrate the strongest of armor; punch straight through most monsters like paper
-Aurora Generator: replacing the concentrated laser that once rested there, the device mounted on Jake's shoulder can fire an aurora beam identical to the one fired by Avenger; great heat and pushing power, able to topple even very large foes and scorch like emerald fire
-Scatter Missiles: a volley of tracking missiles can be launched from the missile compartments mounted on Jake's hips; not extremely powerful, but numerous and hard to avoid, hitting targets as a literal cloud of explosives; often used to distract foes in preparation of a more damaging attack
-Venom: Jake has a potent venom; this toxic is naturally delivered by grooves in his fangs and is actually fairly weak, but was artificially strengthened to quickly slow down foes and even paralyze them; saber-teeth were modified to deliver doses of venom in powerful jets, even able to be sprayed in a blinding mist
-Power Gliding: while he was once without his ability to glide on his webbed spines, extendable rockets mounted on Jake's sides and thrusters on the back of his missile compartments allow Jake to powered enormous distances through the air without end; a fairly fast way to travel, but difficult to direct at times; Jake treats it like a advance form of jumping, preferring to bound for long distance travel
-Surprise!: The fans on Jake's back are usually folded tightly against his body, so he can quickly open them to startle foes; to enhance this natural surprise tactic, the metal blades on Jake's fin can emit a wide, if short, beam of intense light for brief periods of time
-Perfect Sync: the weapons on Jake's body are actually wired into his nervous system and can be controlled by though alone, like any normal limb; aimed using the electronic lenses over Jake's eyes

Weaknesses:
-Jake, although tougher than the rest of his family, is still a relative lightweight, unable to take heavy blows well
-Jake is stubborn and defiant in battle, unwilling to back down until he's been beaten down
-If his weapons are destroyed or disabled, Jake is far less of a force, his physical prowess lacking due to reliance on his firepower

Bio:
Jake, a runt, was capture and separated from his mother upon order by Nathaniel Teach. Teach wanted a weapon powerful enough to bring down kaiju, but quick and agile enough to avoid being destroyed. So, he'd make one out of Jake. Alex Shepheard was hired to trained the young monster, as he had already met him as a hatchling. It was tense and uncomfortable relationship at first, but they soon grew a strong bond. Jake grew rapidly, body altered by scientist. He became stronger than his kin, allowing him to carry man-made weapons. He was also disciplined, taught to follow commands, verbal or gestured. But he'd only listen to Alex. When he was finally ready, several powerful weapons were grafted onto Jake and wired into his very being.

When High Strider appeared, all of Earth's monster attacked it. But they were helpless. Then Jake arrived. Hammering the alien with his weapons, the cyborg struck the alien like a highly advanced army of one, letting the other monster attack without fear of being thrown back by the beast's energy pulse again. As Strider fell for the last time, Jake's first mission was declared a success.

But there was an issue. Reuniting with Drakia and his siblings, the young monster struggled to choose between rejoining them or staying with Alex. Realizing that he had changed so much from his kin, the organic weapon decided to stay with his adopted parent and remain in the care of the military.

Ever since his creation, Jake has been extremely distrusting and wary of Zelus. The two are housed separately to avoid conflict. He has a friendship of sorts with Plume however.

When Typhos attacked, Jake and Plume manged to hold their own against the monstrosity. But after running out of ammo, the runty monster was savagely beaten by the giant. It was the arrival of Quetzar that turned the tides. With the additional help of his mother, Ketos, and the Sub-Titan, Typhos was finally killed.

Jake has earned the nickname the "Giant Slayer" for his ability to take down much larger monsters.

Showing an unexpected resistance to sedatives, Manic awoke at G.A.K.F. headquarters, angry as all hell. The infuriated beast attacked Jake in his slumber, smashing the runty monster's weapons out of order. Caught by total surprise, Jake was in serious trouble. But Plume responded by tackling Manic off his friend. Frighting together, the two G.A.K.F. monster drove Manic into the Gulf of Mexico.

When Spars appeared from nowhere, already locked in a fierce battle withe the escaped Manic in the middle of Egypt. The mammal was undoubtedly on the loosing side of the battle too. Thinking Spars was a Cryptic Eyes kaiju gone rogue, the G.A.K.F. deployed Jake to take charge of the battle.

When the cyborg arrived, the duel stopped dead. Sensing a truly worthy opponent, Spars attacked Jake with everything he had. Manic used the distraction to sneak away. The battle between the saurian and the lizard lasted for hours, their distinctive battle tactics canceling the other's out. Eventually, both decided to withdraw, too worn out to continue.

But something passed between the two that day. Jake and Spars now consider each other rivals.

After a few weeks, Anorgon was released in Orlando at the same time Cressie was mutated and Lykobo became Lykothop. With Plume sent after Cressie and Reaper after Lykothop, Jake was left to deal with Anorgon.

Confronting the mutated frog, Jake attacked with everything he had. But the monstrosity's deadly tongue was trouble, not giving Jake a chance to open fire. Frustrated and furious, the runty giant was forced to rely on more physical means. At first, Jake's greater speed and agility gave him the upper hand. But Anorgon, a opportunistic beast if there ever was one, only needed a single chance to regain control. Seizing the smallest of openings, the beast lashed out and dealt a brutal blow to the much smaller Jake. Now in dire condition, the cyborg could only hope for a miracle as Anorgon prepared to skewer him on his tongue.

That miracle came in the form of Spars.

Bursting from the ground in the nick of time, the ancient brawler caught Anorgon's lethal tongue in midair. Rising back to his feet, Jake helped his rival to drive the monstrosity away. Knowing they monster was beat, the Cryptic Eyes order Anorgon to retreat to the sea.

Jake disrupted the battle between Avenger and the combined force of Ketos and the Sub-Titan. Zelus took the dragon and the mole down, and the runty monster was to face the machine. Dropped from a huge plane, Jake landed in front of Avenger, growling a warning. The G.A.K.F. had arrived. Although both the G.A.K.F. and MAM basically had the same goal, Oscar though Nathanial Teach a hypocrite for using kaiju as weapon. To him, all kaiju were evil. A cease and desist message was radioed to Avenger but he ignored it. Even when a threat of lethal force was issued, Oscar refused to yield. With no other choice, Teach gave the attack order. Jake and Avenger- both scientific and mechanical wonders- clashed in a great battle. The machine and the cyborg were evenly matched, Jake's speed and agility negating Avenger's greater firepower, and Avenger's armor negating Jake's weaker blow. But with the G.A.K.F. having greater support, the fight slowly shifted in Jake's favor. Jumping clear over Avenger as he lunged, the runty monster suddenly had an open and lethal shot at the anti-kaiju machine's back. But as Jake open fire, Quetzar- who sensed the goodness in Oscar's heart- swooped in and took the bullet for the machine. Shocked, Oscar surrendered.

After joining the G.A.K.F., the group of scientist, engineers, and ex-military officers once part of MAM were given their first assignment directly from Teach. Seeing the marvel that was Avenger, he wanted them to upgrade Jake's weaponry. They did so happily, modifying several of the Giant Slayer's already existing weapons and adding some of their own. Overall, his new arsenal was lighter and more powerful, all his previous firepower compacted. This, combined with Jake's growing loyalty, made Weapon K-1 more potent than ever.

Released in a wild, frantic state (scars later found on the beast suggest physical abuse), the kangaroo Bound started a long, unpredictable path of destruction through rural Australia. Wherever the beast went, it left behind ruined landscape or crushed towns. The whole Australia was in panic, no one sure where it would strike next. Being so fast, it was hard for the G.A.K.F. to track Bound. Then things took a turn for the worst. As if lead by an invisible, sadistic force, the kangaroo made a beeline for Canberra, the country's largest inland city. Jake was quickly deployed there. Although they didn't like it, the G.A.K.F. was ready to use lethal force of the giant to prevent it from entering the heavily populated area. Luckily, they didn't have to. Just before Jake opened fire with his Rapid Ringers, Araad Verets descended from the sky, landing in front of Bound. Calming the great mammal, Araad saved the day. With Araad as an escort, Bound happily let himself be transported to Giant's Gate Four.

When Anpu appeared, Jake was one of the monster who challenged him. He fought valiantly, lasting all the way to the end, when the Earth's defender managed to defeat the sand giant.

When Anorgon and Apex appeared in Los Angeles, Jake, Plume, and Reaper were deployed to fight them off. The G.A.K.F. monster quickly took an edge, outnumbering the Cryptic Eyes beasts. But then Banshee arrived. Attacking Jake, her brother, viciously the lame giant turned the tides. Struggling, the G.A.K.F. kaiju were in serious trouble. Luckily for them, the cavalry arrived just in time. Rhact and Sid stormed the battle, backing the G.A.K.F. monsters. Once again outnumbered, Banshee, Anorgon, and Apex were forced to retreat.

When Boulder appeared, he took over Giant's Gate Four. There, he fought Spars, eventually defeating the guardian. But while he had battled, Jake and Plume arrived and took up defensive positions outside of Giant's Gate Four. Boulder tried to return to his new territory, but was repetitively driven back by Jake's firepower, Plume backing this up with muscle. Furious, the prehistoric beast was forced to leave.

When Ullraldi, Mesucos, and Koatl launched their war on the rest of the world, Jake and Plume traveled up the West Coast, trying to reach the Fallen One. However, Atma had been charged with dealing with them and already had a devious plan. The clever beast, aware of his own weaknesses, knew he would never be able to hold back the dangerous pair on land. But in the water, he would easily be able to accomplish his goal. How to lure them into the water though? Strike not at them but at home. Swimming to the G.A.K.F. base in the Gulf of Mexico, Atma attacked the grand military facility, staying deep and focusing on the structure's base. With no weapons strong enough to reach the lizard in the depths, Teach had no choice but to order Jake and Plume back to the base. Purposely holding back from totally destroying the G.A.K.F. base, Atma simply awaited their arrival. When the famed duo arrived, they leapt into the action. Jake, who couldn't afford to get his weapons wet, provided backup from the base while Plume dove in after Atma. The marine reptile's intense cloak of cold battling the basilisk's solar rays, the two monsters traded blows. Although he was a powerful swimmer, he wasn't much of a match for the truly aquatic Atma. Suffering slash after slash and slowly succombing to multiple bite that slowly froze him from the inside out. Frustrated that he couldn't be of more help, Jake could only fire off more rounds into the sea, trying desperately to avoid hitting Plume and catch Atma. But the clever beast simply stayed on the move, never letting Jake get a firm fix on his position. The undead reptile was only struck once or twice, minor annoyances really. Brains succeeded over brawn, it appeared Atma was in total control of the battle.

Until Serker intervened, that is.

Rocketing up from the depths like a deep sea demon, the great shrimp skewered Atma on a spear-like limb, thrusting the screaming zombie up and out of the sea. At once, Jake and Plume opened fire, a solar pulse and a barrage of bullets ravaging Atma. In a mere moment, the once triumphant reptile was reduced back to a corpse, now too mangled to ever be resurrected again. Sliding off Serker's long claws and back into the water, Atma slowly sunk into the deep, laid to rest in the ocean where he existed in life.

When Skathe chased Alex to the G.A.K.F. base, Jake rose along with his fellow defenders to face her. Luckily for the dragoness, Ketos interfered, sweeping Jake and his comrades off their feet with a great rolling wave. Using the sea to keep the G.A.K.F. monster busy, Ketos and the she-dragon fled.

To try and subdue Lockjaw, the G.A.K.F. devised a plan. They set up a faux battle between Jake and Plume in the Grand Canyon, hoping to draw the thing out. The two friends sparred quite often, so it was a convincing show. Perched atop the canyon, Zelus waited for Lockjaw, cloaked and ready to take down the oddball. The trap worked, the twisted chameleon appearing and bathing Jake and Plume with colorful blast. Turning their firepower on the new arrival, the G.A.K.F. monsters attacked Lockjaw, slowly driving him towards Zelus as he nimbly dodged and twisted around attacks. Creeping towards the prankster with dead silence, the Assassin Bug prepared to inject his venom. But, somehow aware of the near invisible giant, Lockjaw turned the tables, pouncing behind Zelus. Before he could stop himself, Plume toppled the Asassin Bug with a solar ray, the frail monster knocked out cold. With another round of grunting laughter, Lockjaw fled, leaving behind two colorful defenders, an unconscious assassin, and a fuming G.A.K.F.

When the Nentuson made their final move, they sent Metataurus to destroy the G.A.K.F. base. Before the juggernaut ould do so though, he was confronted by the Five Children of Heaven and Earth. The Five were quickly demolished though.H his did take Metetaurus's attention from his target. His foes defeated, Metataurus turned to leave Aeolshu, Spars, and Araad sprawled across the shattered peninsula, all three unconscious. The juggernaut was mildly surprised to find Jake, Plume, Zelus, and Reaper on the shoe, ready to face him. Alerted to Metataurus's presence by the battle, the G.A.K.F. had arrived to deal with what they could only assume was their biggest threat. Dismissing his plans being derailed, Logos simply stated that its would all be the same. He would kill them and then destroy the base. Then, with a sneer, Ethos added that they should be more wary who they befriend. As if acting on a cue, Zelus and Reaper- both secret Nentuson agents- turned on Jake and Plume! Surprised, Jake was almost skewered on one of Zelus's poisoned blades. Plume was tackled to the ground by the larger lizard, but soon both wrestled with equal ferocity. Ignoring the two battles, Metataurus continued, walking across the sea with the use of his telekinesis. Soon, Jake was engaged in a deadly game of hide-and-seek. Zelus was cloaked and trying to poison the runty monster. Only the occasional whiff of the Assassin Bug's foul scent or an unnatural breeze told the cyborg when to spring away. Jake had already suffered a few minor scratches, and luckily, no venom had seeping in. the young best stumbling on some lose soil, Zelus finally caught Jake, carving a gash into the runt's flank. Dropping with a moan of agony as venom surged through him, Jake was helpless. Uncloaking with a mocking shriek, the Assassin Bug raised a toxic spike, ready to end Jake and move onto Plume.

Bursting from the jungle behind them, Drakia smashed into Zelus!

The Assassin Bug fell with a screech, and Drakia bound to her son's side. The runty giant, while weakened, was still alive. The dose of venom delivered to him was only paralyzing, not lethal. Rising, Zelus camouflaged himself and tried to ambush Drakia. The old girl wasn't fooled for a moment. Sinuous tail kicking up a cloud of dust, Drakia spied Zelus's outline in the airborne debris and pounced. Talons tearing through the bug's shoulder as she passed overhead, Drakia was spattered with cobalt blue blood. Land far behind the toxic beast, the feline reptile's age caught up to her as she hit the ground. She staggered, and fell awkwardly on her side. Jake his fist priority, Zelus took his chanced and rushed the still runt. Jake could only stare at Zelus defiantly as he closed in.

In a flash of striped hide, Drakia took the blow for him!

Zelus's lethal spike plunged deep into Drakia's chest, piercing her heart and releasing an enormous amount of venom. The aging monster died mid-yowl. Jake howled with horror and rage. Adrenaline exploding into his body and giving him new energy, the Giant Slayer reared up and tore the Assassin Bug apart with a spray of bullets. Zelus fell, dozens of holes punched into his torso, but Jake didn't stop. He pelted the gurgling bug with bullets until his rapid ringer ran out of ammunition, only spinning silently. The Assassin Bug was no more, only a pile of gore. Caterwauling sorrowfully, Jake drug himself to his mother's side and pressed into her, as if he could transfer his pulse into her. Hearing the haunting cry of mourning, Plume quickly finished his battle with Reaper, freeing the monitor of his alien masters. Reaper fled into the lush forests of Mexico and Plume hurried to care for his friend. Jake passed out alongside his mother, Zelus's toxin still flowing through his bloodstream.

For weeks after the death of his mother, Jake couldn't be found, hiding somewhere to mourn in privacy. Nothing could lure the runty monster out, not even the calls of Alex. But when Plume was at Pouh-Wung's mercy, Queen Coil and Drid unconscious next to him, his arm about to be torn from its socket, a flurry of bullets toppled the lung and Jake appeared! Bounding up the rubble of scared Mount Song, Jake had come out of hiding to rescue his friend. Pouh tried to smash the smaller monster with a two-fisted, hammer-like downward swing, but the enraged runt pounced on him quicker than he could react. Pounding the bigger giant with missiles and scalding him with pointblank aurora beams, Jake took the upper hand in an alarming turnaround. Although Pouh fought and thrashed in indignant outrage, the berserk G.A.K.F. beast was too much. A close range blast from the Hide Busters punched into his chest, and Pouh was send packing with blood pouring from his gored breast. Gathering his fallen friend, Jake finally returned home.

Jake and Plume were deployed when Anorgon and Banshee appeared in New Orleans, rising from the Mississippi to create mayhem. While the frog and the lizard tussled, Jake and Banshee met on even terms, the enhancements given to the natural abilities inherited from the late Drakia practically equal. Banshee was physically stronger and more vicious, but Jake's firepower and greater agility held her at bay. Each delivered terrible blows to each other, uncaring that they were siblings. Jake blew a gaping hole in Banshee's haunches with his Hide Busters. Banshee opened up Jake from his neck to the base of his tail. Neither slowed down a single bit.

As the two pairs clashed, new footfall shook the city.

The fighting froze, Jake and Plume looking in confusion, Banshee and Anorgon in expectation. Slowly marched out from behind a few especially tall building, the new beast made his grand appearance- a turtle. A slow, wrinkled, lazy eyed turtle. Jake and Plume weren't very impressed, but a ruckus rose at the labs of the G.A.K.F. They recognized the new giant. They had worked on it. Knight hadn't had their newest project killed, he had it abducted! The developing creature had been altered and changed expertly by Knight, the sloppy ice powers redone and expanded. While it was meant to have been taught high morals and iron will, the impressionable beast was left to mature in solitude. This made it spiritless and easy to manipulate. It still had its intelligence and awareness, but not the will to use to use them properly. Plume, snorting without fear, stepped forward and challenged the turtle to face him. The shelled giant blinked once, hunched over, rose three rubbery flaps on its shell, and...

Rocketed forward with an explosion of steam.

Great, trunk-like feet cratering the street, the turtle dashed forward at near sonic speeds and delivered a punch straight into Plume's jaw. That was the moment that earned the turtle his name- Terrapid. There was a audible crack from the basilisk's jaw, the bones there shattered. With a wail of agony, the lizard toppled. Jake was horrified, and that horror soon became a furious rage that compelled him to hit the turtle with everything he had. The cyborg attacked with an outraged yowl, but another burst of steam and Terrapid swiftly shifted to the side, a pale mist pouring from one arm. The sub-zero vapor froze one of the runt's Hide Busters, and the great gun was broken in two by a flail of Terrapid's flipper. This was repeated over and over. Jake would attack, 'Pid would dodge and further disarm him. Banshee and Anorgon simply watched. Soon, the cyborg was cold, weaponless, and done in. By an invisible order from Knight, Banshee and Anorgon moved in to make the kill. Luckily for the runt, Sid intervened and the turtle left on his own accord, Banshee and Anorgon ordered to follow him.
