Description:
Bound is a giant kangaroo, altered with rabbit, bear, and badger DNA to mimic his kin of the prehistoric past. He is actually quite a peaceable giant, but is easily panicked. And when he panics, he's a disaster on legs. His legs are the root of the problem really. When frightened or startled, he instinctually hops and hops, never stopping, never minding what his vast feet may crush or break. Still, when placid, Bound is one of the most pleasant kaiju around, actually very friendly towards humans, and even willing to defend them. And he defends himself and others fiercely, smashing and bashing with his great claws and feet. In peace he's quite agreeable, but in battle he's a bone-breaking dynamo, a true nightmare of a for. He has a breaking point, and when it snaps, he'll obliterate the culprit. One solid blow from this mammalian powerhouse could drop practically anything, even feared and famed brutes like Arc or Skollarg. Not that he would stop at one blow though. Anything that pushes him too far is sure to be torn apart by the angry 'roo before he is driven away or calmed again.

One can actually tell the time of year by the volume of fur on Bound's hefty tail. It is scant in summer and spring, barely more than darker colored fuzz, then grows out some for the fall time, and finally becomes as lush and full as his pelted back in winter. When the weather warms, the excess fur falls out and the cycle begins anew.

Powers:
-Bolt Cutters: two large teeth curl from Bound's lower jaw, the sharp, wedge-shaped incisors meeting with a smaller top tooth to form an organic bolt cutter when he bites down; very dangerous, meant to cut through tough vegetation, but able to sheer great chunks of meat off foes and aggressors as well
-Stone Palms: besides being tipped with long, blunt claws, Bound's forelimbs are very muscular and robust, with rocky hard palm that are scarred heavy and have little feeling anymore; when the kangaroo was tortured by the Cryptic Eyes to panic him and make him dangerous, the once soft pads of his paws were targeted; now they are tough and scabbed enough to be used as weapons; the great stony paws can bash and clap heads between them, one of the beast's most straightforward and brutal tactics
-Tail: Bound's heavy tail is perfect for swatting away foes or bowling over aggressors; strong enough to fully support his weight when he leans back on it
-Hind Legs: Bound's most potent weapons are his powerful back legs, which can deliver enormously strong kicks, powerful enough to break bones and disembowel with their savage claws; the most deadly use for these kicks is when Bound rocks back on his tail and lashes out with both feet, an action that can instantly floor practically any kaiju to ever breath; his legs are also spurred, a nasty addition to the standard 'roo leg; the well muscled legs can also launch him into extraordinary leaps and jumps, both vertically and horizontally
-Woolly Coat: Bound's fur is quite thick and tangled, unusual for a kangaroo, but perfect for light defense; the shaggy coat hinders slashing attacks severely, and can even lessen the affects of beams with its volume; the dirty, greasy nature of the fur renders it resistant to burning, although not impervious
-Speed: Bound is an incredibly fast monster, able to run like a rabbit or hop like a kangaroo; he is both a sprinter and a long distance runner, picking up speed in an instant and keeping it up for hours; in fact, he's the single fastest distance runner in the kaiju world; only the likes of Terrapid and Sygnathe can outspeed him, and only in short bursts
-Super Sense: Bound's sense of hearing is incredible, letting him sense danger from miles away in some instances

-Would really rather graze peacefully than fight; tries to avoid conflict

Bio:
At the same time Atrocity and Queen Coil were raising Hell, Bound was causing terror in the Land Down Under.

Released in a wild, frantic state- scars later found on the beast suggested physical abuse- the kangaroo started a long, unpredictable path of destruction through rural Australia. Wherever the beast went, it left behind ruined landscape or crushed towns. The whole Australia was in panic, no one sure where it would strike next. Being so fast, it was hard for the G.A.K.F. to track Bound. Then things took a turn for the worst. As if lead by an invisible, sadistic force, the kangaroo made a beeline for Canberra, the country's largest inland city. Jake was quickly deployed there. Although they didn't like it, the G.A.K.F. was ready to use lethal force of the giant to prevent it from entering the heavily populated area.

Luckily, they didn't have to.

Just before Jake opened fire with his Rapid Ringer, the great gun already spinning, Araad Verets descended from the sky, landing in front of Bound. Calming the great mammal, Araad saved both the city and Bound with her universal tongue. With Araad as an escort, Bound happily let himself be transported to Giant's Gate Four. There, he dwelled contently, staying away from the unstable Manic, the mischievous Troop, the ravenous Erog, and the hot-headed Coffin to try and live in peace.

Sensing Anpu and the threat he imposed, Bound broke free of Giant's Gate Four with the rest of the inhabitants to confront him. Although the sand god surely would have bee slaughtered by the 'roo and allies if a flesh and blood creature, there were quickly defeated and trapped, locked away in a huge sand pyramid. Bound was later freed and returned to Giant's Gate Four. Sand can still be found in his thick fur.

When ice warriors laid siege to Giant's Gate Four, Bound surprised man and giant alike by going berserk. Leaping about in a blur of kicks and swipes, the gigantic mammal laid waste to the frosty army, building up the highest body count of all the resident monsters. Only Banshee, who arrived to help, matched him.

When the Nentuson made their final move on Earth, Bound, like all of the monster in the Giant's Gates, was released to help fend off the alien threat. Lead by powerful protective instincts, the 'roo headed east, accompanied by Manic and joined by Frenzy and Atrocity. The team of four arrived at their destination just in time, finding Slaughterhound standing over a beaten Prowl, ready to end Seth. Attacking the killer as one, the four terrestrial monster inadvertently saved Seth's life. Each beats taking a side, Bound leapt around to attack the alien's back. As Atrocity held the alien's head in his jaws and its flailing limbs were restrained by Manic and Frenzy, Bound pounced up to deliver a spine-snapping kick! Paralyzed, Slaughterhound collapsed, and was left for dead as the four Earth giants set off in their own directions. Bound traversed the deserts of Mongolia for almost two weeks before being guided back to Giant's Gate Four.

Additional Information: I think this may be my favorite update so far. Dunno why, it just really clicks with me. Easily among my favorite 'normal' monsters now. Just the way he's usually chill but kicks serious ass when pissed... it's awesome.
